An international company currently undergoing growth and transformation is looking for a Head of Human Resources – Tourism Sector to lead the overall HR strategy and operations, with direct exposure to Senior Management and ongoing collaboration with multicultural and international teams.
THE CHALLENGE
We are looking for a strategic, hands-on HR leader capable of strengthening and evolving the Human Resources function while supporting the company's growth.
This role requires a strong combination of strategic vision and operational execution, with the ability to develop new talent, culture, technology and organizational development initiatives while ensuring a solid day-to-day HR operation.
The Head of Human Resources will lead the overall People & Culture / Human Resources agenda, including:
Overall Human Resources strategy and operations.
Attraction and recruitment of operational and administrative talent, primarily for tourism operations, ensuring timely staffing to support business growth, seasonality and operational demands.
Design and execution of recruitment strategies for operational, specialized and administrative positions.
Personnel administration and oversight of pre-payroll processes.
Employee and labor relations, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor regulations.
Training, learning & development and career planning.
Performance management, employee engagement, organizational climate and culture.
Compensation & Benefits.
HR metrics, KPIs and management reporting.
HR budget planning and control.
Implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes, policies and HRIS solutions.
Change management and HR digital transformation.
Communication and stakeholder management across local and international teams.
Leadership and development of the Human Resources team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience leading the Human Resources function in a comprehensive, end-to-end capacity.
Experience managing multisite operations and both operational and administrative workforces.
Strong experience in operational recruitment and selection, ideally within tourism, hospitality, services, call centers/BPO or other fast-paced environments with ongoing staffing requirements.
Proven ability to develop talent acquisition strategies in response to workforce growth, turnover, seasonality and hard-to-fill operational positions.
Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law (LFT), employee relations, personnel administration, payroll processes, IMSS and INFONAVIT.
Experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Performance Management and Employee Engagement.
Experience leading transformation projects, process improvements and HR technology / HRIS implementations.
Strong understanding of HR metrics, KPIs and budget management.
Experience working directly with Senior Management and cross-functional stakeholders.
Advanced English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively in professional and executive-level environments.
Experience working with multicultural and international teams is highly valued.
Availability for occasional travel.
